/// Mastering Your Body’s Limits
Experiencing, recognizing then understanding the physical limit’s of your body to condition them to higher levels of stress and fatigue resistance.
Along with natural talent and practice, the way we get better, stronger and faster at physical skills and specific actions is first by reaching and realizing the limits of our body while doing them. Then pushing harder to exceed them to set new limits – repeat.
Reach your limit… acknowledge it… then push it.
Think of having a limitation as simply a point of which you can upgrade from. Once you know where your limit is, then you consciously work harder and smarter to upgrade to a higher limit. Eventually mastering certain parts of your body and the skillets / specific actions associated with them. This also hardens the body.
It’s an incremental process that mostly moves up / forward in progress. The more you physically perform an action (or sets of actions) until your body can’t handle it anymore, is you reaching a personal limit.
The key is recognizing that you’ve reached your body’s limit in performing that action yet using all your strength and will to do it just a little bit more.
That’s increasing your body’s limit. With that comes increased durability, capability and adaptability.
Mastering your body’s limits isn’t just for combatives, survival and sports. It’s equally and practically useful for everyday life:
- Optimize Overall Endurance
- Optimize Overall Stamina
- Optimize Overall Health
- Strengthen Injured Areas of The Body
- Strengthen Weaker Areas of The Body
- Strengthen Stronger Areas of The Body
- Increase Pain Tolerance
- Increase Poison Tolerance
- Increase Muscle Memory
- Increase Damage Resistance
- Handle Sickness Better
- Handle Colder Temperatures
- Handle Hotter Temperatures
- Handle Adverse Weather
Our bodies are just a system of base moving parts that can be tuned, finessed and crafted into high performance machines, or at least better (or best) versions of our base level bodies.
It starts with mastering your body’s limits.
